Kamala Harris Names Top Senate Aide Clint Odom To Serve As Legislative Director In Senate Office

LOS ANGELES -- Senator-Elect Kamala D. Harris announced today that Clint Odom, a top Senate aide, will lead her office's legislative shop and serve as her Legislative Director.

"I'm thrilled that Clint has decided to join our team and I look forward to our work together," said Harris. "He will be an invaluable asset to me and the people of California as we fight for the ideals of this nation. There will be many battles in the months ahead, and I am glad Clint will be standing with us to protect California residents and fight for our values."

Odom brings a wealth of experience and knowledge. He previously served as Democratic General Counsel and Policy Director for the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation. Before his tenure at the Committee on Commerce, Odom served as Senator Bill Nelson's Deputy Legislative Director and oversaw a number of issue areas. Odom has previously served in senior roles at the Federal Communications Commissions and in the telecom industry. Before his Senate tenure, Clint practiced law in the Washington, D.C. office of Dow Lohnes PLLC, and clerked for U.S. District Court Judge Henry Wingate of the Southern District of Mississippi. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University and the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Odom joins Chief of Staff Nathan Barankin and State Director Julie Chavez Rodriguez on Harris' senior team.
